RON LAUS
I've had a love for music ever since I was given my 1st guitar by my dad at the age of 9. I've played the guitar, bass guitar, piano, flute, clarinet and saxophone. I studied music theory, choir, and was an alternate guitarist for the jazz band at Ft. Steilacoom Community College, now known as Pierce College Ft Steilacoom. One of my Business projects I put together was RLS Productions which Dj'd for BSU's at WSU, UW and several social organizations through out Greater Seattle. Radio personality Tony Mack worked with my Organization as well as working at KYAC, 1250 AM, Radio.
For two (2) years I modeled for Kaleidoscope Productions in Seattle, WA and worked with some of the great artists of the late 70s early 80's, as Jean Carne, Patrice Rushen, Lakeside, Contents Under Pressure, Lenny White.
Growing up in Lakewood, I used to see Bobby "one of the great blues guitarist today" Murray practice at his home. He was my ex-brother in law, my lovely daughter, Carlie's uncle. I have had the pleasure to meet Robert Cray at Bobby's house as they practiced and jammed together in my early years in Lakewood, WA as well.
I've had the pleasure to work with Shiro Stokes and most recently, LaTonya Holmes.
I now practice Public Affairs as a Publicist https://www.facebook.com/ron.laus?hc_location=timeline, write and produce my own music, interview artists from every aspect of the arts and performing arts.
